Ghasem AkhbarFar is currently involved in a long-term project which aims to manage urban trees decline and He is focusing on plane tree (Platanus orientalis). He is trying to understand why plane trees suffer from iron deficiency and how it could be handled in an IPM approach. Moreover, he is trying to come to a better understanding of the role of both soil microorganisms and endogenous ones including endophytes to employ them facing the trees decline.
